What are the steps involved in the process of renting?

Alright, so here's how it works- you pick what you want to rent, pay in a small refundable deposit to place the order, and then you choose when you want it delivered. Then you have to do this KYC thing, but no biggie, it's quick, like under a day quick. Once that's done, we handle the delivery, and within 72 hours, we've got it installed for you. Delivery itself takes less than 2 days, but if it's something tricky like an AC or water purifier, we'll have it installed in under 48 hours after delivery. After that, you'll get a monthly bill on the app or website notified through a sms, whatsapp or a notification on the app. Pretty straightforward, right?

What kind of charges will be deducted from the deposit? When will I get my security deposit back?

Rest assured, our security deposit is fully refundable, eliminating any concerns about unjust deductions. Only in rare instances of theft, loss, or severe damage will there be deductions made to fairly compensate. You can relax knowing that your deposit will be refunded within 72 hours after our team retrieves the products and assesses them at the warehouse.

Why do you need a KYC process? What documents are needed? What time does it take for the KYC process?

Renting works similar to borrowing money from a bank and verifying your profile, aiming to safeguard the business against the risk of users not returning the rented items or failing to meet their monthly rental obligations.

How long does it take for delivery? Does Rentomojo also take responsibility for installations?

Post KYC is completed, we ensure swift delivery within 3 days, including installation at no extra cost. Quick delivery, free installation- it cannot get more hassle-free than this! However for AC units, additional charges may apply.

Will I get a new or an older product at the time of delivery? What if I don't like the quality of the product delivered to me?

Our in-house team of experts assess each unit of every product received back and ensure they pass through a 25 step meticulous quality check process. Every item is as good as new when they are delivered to your house to add that mojo! Not satisfied or need a replacement? We have you covered! When you choose renting with us, ou choose the freedom to have the best. Just raise a request, and we'll have it replaced within 3 days. Plus, we waive off rental charges for those unused days.

How will I pay the monthly rentals? Will there be a late fee involved? Is there an auto-debit facility?

We've got you covered with all payment methods - whether it's card, net banking, or UPI, just take your pick from our convenient options on our mobile app or website; simply log in and make your payment! Invoices are issued on the 30th of each month, and we'll notify you via SMS, email, and Whatsapp when it's ready, along with a payment link for instant payment using various methods. Late fees kick in on the 40th day. To keep things hassle-free and ensure timely payments, we highly recommend opting for our auto-debit feature.

Will you relocate my rented products if I move to another house?

Yes, we offer relocation services for rented products both within the city and outside the city, where we are operable. The best part? We relocate items absolutely free of charge, so that you have the freedom to make your next move hassle free.

How do I return the products if I want to stop the subscription? Are there any charges if I close earlier than contracted?

Hey there! If you ever need to wrap up your subscription early on the Rentomojo app, no worries! We understand life can throw some curveballs!! Just head over to your dashboard and hit that 'close subscription' button. Now, if you decide to call it quits before the contract's up, we've got you covered. We'll gladly take back the stuff you rented, but we'll need to charge you for 1 Month's rent as an early closure fee. That's because we're taking on the risk of not finding someone else to rent out to on short notice.

Do I need to pay additional charges for the installation of AC?

For air conditioners (AC), an additional installation charge is applicable. This is to ensure a professional and safe installation by our qualified technicians. The installation charges will be available at the checkout page.

Is the compressor stand included in the monthly rent of an AC from Rentomojo?

Yes, the compressor stand is included in the monthly rent of an AC. There are no separate charges for the compressor stand when you rent an AC from Rentomojo.
